MCLEAN, Va. — Trase, an agentic platform that tactically delivers and implements end-to-end AI agent applications and edge-deployed specialized language models, today announced the appointment of former Amazon Web Services executive Srirama Koneru as its new Chief Technology Officer.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Sri to Trase,” said Grant Verstandig, Co-Founder and CEO of Trase. “She brings a wealth of exceptional technical leadership and visionary insight, having driven innovation at some of the world’s largest and most respected technology companies. Her expertise will be instrumental as we accelerate innovation, drive technical excellence, and deliver meaningful value for our customers operating in mission-critical regulated industries.”
Prior to joining Trase, Koneru was General Manager at Amazon Web Services’ Bedrock, where she spearheaded the evolution of multi-modal AI services. Koneru previously held senior engineering leadership roles at Google and Salesforce. Earlier in her career, she worked in a variety of software engineering roles at both Oracle Corporation and Hewlett-Packard Corporation. Koneru holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the National Institute of Technology Warangal and a master’s degree in computer science from Ball State University.
“I’m very excited to join Trase as CTO. After years of leading large-scale, high-impact initiatives at both Google and Amazon, I’ve seen firsthand how transformative AI can be, especially when the right security and privacy controls are built in from the start,” Koneru said. “Trase is poised to redefine what’s possible by bringing Agentic AI to regulated industries like healthcare and defense to transform some of the most complex and mission-critical environments in the world. I look forward to building the next generation of intelligent systems that raise the bar for compliance, reliability, and decision quality, grounded in strong, responsible AI principles and enabling our customers to rapidly achieve their most critical objectives.”
