How we handle personal information collected through our website.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Trase AI, Inc. (“Trase”, “we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information collected through our website at trase.ai (the “Site”).

This policy covers the Site only. It does not apply to:

  • Our products, applications, platform, or paid services (“Services”), which are governed by separate terms (e.g. our customer agreement and, where applicable, a Data Processing Agreement);
  • Personal data we process as a processor/service provider on behalf of our business customers;
  • Third-party websites, platforms, or services we link to.

If you are a customer or end-user of our Services, the privacy terms in your service agreement apply to that data, not this policy.

3. What We Collect and Why

Information you give us

When you submit our contact / “Request a Demo” form, we collect the details you provide: your name and email address and any other fields on the form (e.g. company, role, phone, message).

When a form is submitted successfully, we also send information to our advertising tools to measure how well our advertising performs. This advertising measurement happens only where you have consented to marketing cookies — see Section 4 and our Cookie Policy.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our providers collect technical data through cookies and similar technologies, including IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and interactions.

We collect only what we need for the purposes above and do not use the Site data for unrelated purposes.

The Site uses strictly-necessary, analytics, and marketing cookies. Non-essential cookies (analytics and marketing) are set only after you consent. We manage consent through our cookie consent platform, which records your choices and lets you change them at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the Site footer. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, sending advertising, identification, and conversion data to the partners identified above may qualify as “selling” or “sharing” under California law, which may include the “lead_created” event above or other online identifiers. See Section 10 for your opt-out rights.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and some of our providers are located outside your country. Where we transfer personal data internationally (including out of the UK/EEA), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses. 7. How Long We Keep It

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, then delete or anonymise it.

8. How We Protect It

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, which includes encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and provider vetting. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and respond to any incident appropriately.

9. Your Rights (UK / EU — GDPR)

You have the right to: access a copy of your data; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing).

To opt out of sale or sharing: reject marketing cookies via the Cookie Settings link on the Site, use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link, or set the Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We treat a valid GPC signal as an opt-out request.

Otherwise, to exercise any right, contact privacy@trase.ai. We respond within one month (extendable by two further months for complex requests). You also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority.

10. Your Rights (California — CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights regarding personal information.

We collect this for the business purposes in Section 3. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Your California rights:

  • Know / Access the personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
  • Delete personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

To opt out of sale/sharing: reject marketing cookies via the Cookie Settings link on the Site, use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link, or set the Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — we treat a valid GPC signal as an opt-out request.

To exercise other rights, contact privacy@trase.ai. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorised agent.

11. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK, where applicable). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact privacy@trase.ai and we will delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a revised “Last updated” date, and notify you of material changes where required.
